Education
I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor's of Science with an emphasis in Elementary Education and a certification in mid-level science. In December I will graduate from Northeastern State University with a Master's in reading with a certification as reading specialist.
Experience
I currently teach fifth grade and have previously taught sixth grade. I tutored for several years at Sylvan, before beginning to tutor on my own. I have tutored a variety of ages and subjects from kindergarten to helping a student prepare for the GRE and ASVAB. My graduate level courses has prepared me to develop individual plans for students with reading problems. I also love to teach about early American history and have been apart of the Williamsburg Teacher Institute.
